UNDER 13s STORM INTO CUP FINAL

A 2-1 victory over St Andrews Youth was enough to put the Under 13s into the Final of the Tandridge League Shield.   In the final they will play Crawley United who are one of only 3 teams to have beaten them this season.   Crawley have only lost 2 all season so it promises to be a great game.

The Under 16s also won last Sunday, a 4-2 victory over Empire in the league but they will also be making the journey to play St Andrews Youth next Sunday in their Shield Semi-Final so hopefully they will be insprired to repeats the result of the Under 13s.

The Ladies won again last Sunday as they consolidated 7th place in the league; it was a comfortable 3-0 win over Fulham Compton OB Reserves.   On 19th February they are due to play Camden Town in the London Junior Womens Cup Semi-Final and will be looking to keep their good form going.   It won't be easy, however, as Camden Town are top of Division One North but this is Cup Football and anything can happen!

The following message has been received from our local rivals, Merstham FC:

"I have been asked to contact you on behalf of The Chairman of Merstham FC Ted Hickman and the board of directors at the club to say how very sad we all are at the news that your fantastic little club has been forced to leave the league. It’s a real shame to lose such an distinguished club as yours. I know from speaking to Ted that he always looked forward to visiting the KT Stadium and your visits to Moatside. He has suggested that if any of your Season Ticket holders would like to come down to Merstham for any of our home games for the rest of the season they will be warmly welcomed into the ground free of charge on presentation of the ticket.
